Have you seen the music video of Sweet Child O’ Mine? The girl featured in the video was Erin Everly. Later on, she would also be in the music video of It’s So Easy. Aside from her appearances in several Guns N’ Roses’ music videos, Everly is best known as the first wife of the band’s lead vocalist, Axl Rose.

In 1986, the two started dating. Four years later, in 1990, the two got married. After their marriage, the happily ever after of the couple proved to be a lot rockier than they may have expected. The two experienced a lot of trials and challenges. After ten months, they decided it would best that they go their separate ways. Despite the marriage ending, Rose reportedly said that the children in them were best friends. Love doesn’t always end as we would have expected. However, what matters here is that they tried, and I think we should give them credit for having the courage to try.
