PHIL DONAHUE, 85 YEARS OLD

85-year-old, Phil Donahue is one of the renowned American media personality film producers, writer. He is exceptionally famous for creating and hosting The Phil Donahue Show. This popular television program was later known as Donahue. Fun fact, his show was the first talk show ever to include audience participation. For 29 whole years, it aired on national television. Phil then became one of the most influential talk show hosts in the world. People started calling him The King Of Daytime Talk. On the TV Guide’s 50 Greatest TV Stars Of All Time, Phil was ranked number 42 in 1996. Moreover, Oprah Winfrey gave him credit because there would have never been an Oprah Show if it weren’t for him.

Phil was born and raised in a middle-class Catholic family back in Cleveland, Ohio. After he graduated from a private school in suburban Lakewood, Ohio, he got his Bachelor Of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame back in 1957.
