JOAN COLLINS, 87 YEARS OLD

Joan Collins has managed to stay relevant in today’s industry, even at 87 years old. This is because she has been very vocal about many social ills. Recently, she spoke about the #MeToo campaign and advised that women should just give men one to the knee if they were ever inappropriate. While some might consider it a tad extreme, it is actually the right thing to do in some cases.

The Dame has been an actress since 1951 and has appeared in multiple movies. However, prior to all that, she made investments in acting by enrolling at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in her teens. The 1970s to 1980s saw her career blossom. With money in the bank, she afforded to get projects only sporadically in the 1990s to 2000s. Even though she is well into her 80s, the actress still plays roles, most recently in Gerry and The Time of Their Lives.
