REGGIE JACKSON, 74 YEARS OLD

During his formative years, Reggie Jackson excelled in sports. He played football, basketball, track and field, and baseball. Reggie was a well-rounded athlete. Eventually, due to injuries and other underlying circumstances, he focused on baseball. In 1966, Reggie was drafted by the Kansas City Athletics. And from then on, he would become one of the most decorated and successful baseball players in the MLB.

He played in the MLB from 1967 until 1987 and played for several teams such as the New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles, California Angels, and Kansas City / Oakland Athletics. He played as a right fielder and was dubbed Mr. October for his clutch hitting abilities, leading the teams such as the Athletics and the Yankees to World Series glory. Reggie helped the Athletics win three consecutive World Series titles and the Yankees to win two consecutive World Series titles. And in 1993, he was given credit for his achievements in the sport and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
