ERIC BURDON, 80 YEARS OLD

Many of the prominent figures on our list are multitaskers, in the sense that they make more than just music. Something that their financial advisors must be pretty happy to know. Eric Burdon is no different and is best known for being a singer-songwriter and actor. He gained fame as the vocalist of the famed rock band The Animals before starting a solo career. His golden voice made him stand out from everyone and perfectly complimented blues-rock music. Of course, his stage performances are just as notable, and he is well known for the electricity he creates on stage. It’s no surprise knowing about his inclusion in Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time.

With his former band, The Animals, he lent his voice to the tracks Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood, The House of the Rising Sun, Don’t Bring Me Down, and Sky Pilot, to name a few. In 2016, Burdon helped reform the band, but with a different line-up of members.
