CHARLES DANCE, 74 YEARS OLD

If you’re a fan of HBO’s The Game of Thrones, then you know of Charles Dance. He played Tywin Lannister in the world-famous series. And whether you love or hate Tywin, we can all agree that Charles is one of the most talented actors in the cast. Charles has been around the industry for quite some time now. Just like Sir Ian McKellen, Charles is a distinguished performer. During the mid-to-late ‘70s, he was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He performed in theater plays where he garnered acclaim and a degree of respect amongst his peers.

Apart from theater, Charles also made appearances in TV and films. His first on-screen appearances were in the 1974 series Father Brown and the 1981 James Bond film For Your Eyes Only. He has starred in several TV shows such as Edward the Seventh Bleak House, The Phantom of the Opera, and Terry Pratchett’s Going Postal TV adaptation, among many others.
