HILDA BERNARD, 100 YEARS OLD

Centenarian Hilda Bernard had to come out recently to disprove the claim that she passed away due to the pandemic. It was considered good news, given that someone at her age managed to defeat the fatal health crisis. Over the 100 years of her existence, the Argentine actress has proven herself capable. At an early age, she realized that studying under the legends of Antonio Cunill Cabanellas and María Rosa Gallo would be her advantage. She was right. In 1941, she got her break and appeared in the play Martin Fiero.

After a short stint on radio, Bernard focused her efforts on TV. Her extensive TV career began in the 1960s, appearing in Italian Girl Comes To Marry, Your Favorite Comedy, and Malevo. One of her more successful projects was in the program The 24 Hours, which aired from 1981 to 1985. To a degree, Bernard never really rested because she has appeared sporadically in films and TV series such as on The Successful Pells and on The Nanny.
