BARBARA WALTERS, 92 YEARS OLD

While she had since retired from the industry in 2015, Barbara Walters is still going strong at age 92. She is considered to be one of the most famous journalists in the U.S. She started working in mass media during the 1950s, shortly after graduating with an English degree. Eventually, Walters became heavily associated with the American channel ABC. She is given credit to some of the most iconic interviews with historical figures of the 20th century. One of them was her joint interview between Begin and Sadat. During that time, Israel and Egypt were discussing terms which eventually was finalized in the form of the Camp David Accords of 1978.

Aside from journalism, Walters also focused on talk shows. In 1997, she co-created and co-produced the morning talk show The View. She finally retired from the industry in 2015, after more than half a century in the business. Her final on-air interview was Donald Trump during his candidacy for President of the United States.
