DEAN STOCKWELL, 85 YEARS OLD
Another star who began his career at a young age is Dean Stockwell. The actor was born to a family filled with celebrities – his father, Harry Stockwell, takes credit for voicing Prince Charming in Disney’s animated classic, Snow White. As for his start in acting, Dean and his brother, Guy Stockwell, were encouraged by their mother to audition for a play called Innocent Voyage. Although the at-the-time child actor Dean only landed a minor part, it was more than enough to land him a spot in the entertainment industry.
By the time he retired from acting in 2015, Dean’s career had spanned for an impressive 70 years. His first shot to fame was in earlier stints in titles such as The Green Years, Kim, and Anchors Aweigh. Nowadays, though, the actor is most known for his performance in the sci-fi shows Quantum Leap and Battlestar Galactica. In fact, despite his retirement, Dean reportedly still visits sci-fi conventions to interact with his fans.
