JIMMY LYNDON, 95 YEARS OLD

Jimmy Lyndon began his career in the entertainment industry as a teenager in the 1930s. His first role was in the Broadway play Western Waters. Soon after, he landed several plays, including Prologue to Glory, Sunup to Sundown, The Happiest Days, and Sing Out the News. He then moved to Hollywood with his family to seek film roles. In 1940, he got a leading role in a credit film School Days, and it received acclaim from critics.

Under contract with Paramount Pictures between 1941 and 1944, Lyndon starred as the adolescent Henry Aldrich in the movie series. In the following years, he appeared in the acclaimed film Life with Father in 1947. Lyndon also gained roles in the new medium of television and portrayed Chris Tayer’s character on the television soap opera The First Hundred Years. Since then, Lyndon has made numerous movies that further propelled his career in show business.
