TONY BENNET, 94 YEARS OLD

The famous singer from Queens, Anthony Dominick Benedetto, better known as Tony Bennet, is best recognized for his song I Left My Heart in San Francisco and Because of You. He earned his degree in New York’s School of Industrial Arts and later became known as one of the most respected artists in the music industry. To prove that, he has won more than 20 Grammy Awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award. As a pioneer of his musical style, it is fitting that he also found the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts.

He has also had success working with other artists like Lady Gaga. Their collaboration led them to make an album together and even toured together. Apart from music, he has also had success as a painter with legitimate professional training and was even commissioned by the United Nations to make two art pieces, which are now on display in the Butler Institute of American Art.
