AL JARDINE,78 YEARS OLD

One of the most recognized groups even today would have to be the Beach Boys when it comes to classical American music. They may have undergone member changes throughout the years, but there’s no arguing that the original remains of the most beloved as well. Alan Charles Jardine, better known as Al Jardine, is one of the group’s founding members. He was the Beach Boys’ rhythm guitarist and occasionally sang vocals on tracks like Cotton Fields, Then I Kissed Her, and Come Go With Me.

In 1998, Al decided to leave the touring group and embark on a solo career. Since then, he had toured under different name credit, including “Al Jardine of the Beach Boys” and “Beach Boys Family & Friends.” In 2013, he also became part of Beach Boys original member Brian Wilson’s band is currently touring with them.
