Ralph Nader – 87, Lawyer/Crusader

Ralph Nader is America’s most well-known and influential lawyer and public-interest crusader. This position has brought him into a confrontation with both business and government on numerous occasions. He sparked audits aimed at improving the efficiency of companies and government agencies. Ralph also ran for president and attempted to reform the electoral process to give voters more options.

His personal life is shrouded in mystery, leading to a lot of speculation. Obviously, as an icon and a lovely guy, we speculated about whether he had a love life. Nader has never married, continues to channel whatever energy he might have into his all-night work and research binges, despite reports of relationships with female coworkers over the years. He said that he had to choose between having a family and having a career at some stage and couldn’t have both. That’s the kind of person he is – He was unable to have a wife.
