Benicio del Toro is a brilliant actor, as shown by the fact that he already has an Oscar on his mantelpiece. His first break came when he starred in the hit television series Miami Vice, but the frantic speed and lack of rehearsal time did not appeal to him, and he yearned for a career in the cinema. Del Toro became the youngest actor to play a Bond villain when he starred in the film, Licence to Kill.

The actor has since received rave reviews for his Snatch and The Pledge roles and has even established himself as a Hollywood heartthrob. His career paved the way for a slew of movies, but his personal life is a different story to tell. Many assumed del Toro would settle down after his widely publicized relationship with Kimberly Stewart and the birth of their daughter, Delilah, but the couple separated before Delilah was born. Even though the marriage was never in the cards for him, Del Toro has been involved in his daughter’s life since, so he deserves credit for being a present father.
