DAVID CROSBY, 80 YEARS OLD
David Crosby has made quite a name for himself as a solo artist, but the degree of his creativity certainly knows no bounds. After all, he was a founding member in some of the most beloved musical groups throughout the years, including Crosby, Stills & Nash, and The Byrds. As you might already know, the Byrds helped Bob Dylan score his first chart-topper in 1965. Thanks to the song Mr. Tambourine Man, Dylan was able to gain mainstream success.
Crosby is considered one of the most prolific singer-songwriters in the industry, and it isn’t just because of all the groups he has helped establish. He has written numerous hits, including the tracks Eight Miles High, Wooden Ships, Lady Friend, and Shadow Captain. That’s on top of the six solo albums he has released, five of which managed to chart well and are included in Rolling Stone Magazine’s The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list.
