ERIC CLAPTON – MELIA MCENERY

Age is but a number between renowned singer and songwriter Eric Clapton and Melia McEnery. Though McEnery was 31 years his junior, Clapton sees her as his equal. The two met at a party that McEnery held while working in Armani, with Clapton being one of the guests. She approached the singer to get his autograph for her relative, and they instantly hit it off. The two tied the knot in 2002 in a surprise ceremony attended by the closest people to the couple. The couple also has three children between them.

Clapton has also given credit to his wife for changing his unpleasant ways. In fact, she was supportive of his endeavors, including his Crossroads Centre Antigua, where she serves as the Senior Clinical Advisor. The center offers a reprieve to those battling substance dependence on the calm and beautiful island of Antigua. There is no doubt that McEnery will be by his side through thick and thin.
