HUGH JACKMAN – DEBORRA-LEE FURNESS

Hugh Jackman is perhaps one of Australia’s greatest exports in entertainment. Jackman is famous for his role as Wolverine in the X-Men franchise. Aside from X-Men¬, his other notable performances include Les Misérables, The Greatest Showman, Pan, and Van Helsing. To his credit, he has been given multiple awards for his performances, including a Grammy and a Golden Globe. He has been happily married to his wife of 25 years, actress and fellow Aussie Deborra-Lee Furness.

Jackman and Furness first met on the set of the Australian TV series Correlli in 1995. A year later, on April 11, they tied the knot in a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. While Furness isn’t as prominent as Jackman in terms of their acting careers, she is well-known for her advocacy for women’s rights and helping causes that assist orphans worldwide. This advocacy of hers stems from the fact that Jackman and Furness adopted two children, a son born in 2000 and a daughter born in 2005.
