Regis Philbin
Regis Francis Xavier Philbin was born on August 25, 1931. He was an American television presenter, talk show, and game show host, actor, and singer from Greenwich, Connecticut. He once was regarded as the hardest working man in show business. He held the world record for the most hours spent on US television recognized by Guinness. The TV personality was also known to work with Kelly Ripa in Live! with Regis and Kelly while he subsequently starred in several television shows, including Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and the first season of America’s Got Talent.
Philbin first tied the knot with Catherine Faylen in 1955 but later called his attorney to undo their marriage in 1968. Two years later, he got married to interior decorator Joy Senese. He had two children each. Unfortunately, the well-established host also kicked the bucket on July 24 in the year 2020. He was 88 years old.
