He was best known for his part in the comedy duo Stiller and Meara. His partner in the team, Anne Meara, became her wife, and they were married for over 60 years. The two shared a long-lasting marriage, a feat that is incredibly rare for Hollywood couples.

Besides being an actor and a loving husband, Jerry Stiller was also the father of actor Ben Stiller. Interestingly, the two shared screen time in a couple of movies such as Zoolander, Heartbreak kid, and Hot Pursuit. Jerry also found success as a voiceover actor, and he has a handful of voice-acting credits in his resume.
