Carl Reiner

Everyone who knew Carl Reiner or got to see his work must be deeply saddened by his passing last June 2020. He had a successful acting career that spanned over six decades. Besides acting, Reiner was also an excellent director and comedy writer. Some of his most notable acting credits came in The Dick Van Dyke Show, where he was also the creator, producer, and writer from 1961 until 1965.

Reiner’s long-running acting career allowed him to rake in several awards and honors. The comedian has one Grammy Award, 11 Emmy Awards, and the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. The award-winning individual leaves behind three kids which are all incredibly successful. He was the father to author Annie Reiner, actor-director Rob Reiner, and renowned artist Lucas Reiner. There’s certainly no doubt that the great Carl Reiner will be missed by all of those who knew him throughout his career.
