Neil Peart
He was a singer-songwriter, musician, and author from Canada who was best recognized as the drummer of the rock band Rush. He passed away on January 7, 2020, in Santa Monica, California. His illness and passing were kept private just like others do when applying for cash loans. His family made the announcement on January 10 of the same year, which was already days after the unfortunate event. He was 67 years old.
Peart joined the band in 1974, a couple of weeks before the band’s first tour in the US. Being part of the band gave him fame, fortune, and recognition, one of which is being the youngest inductee in the Modern Drummer Readers Poll Hall of Fame in 1983. Its inevitable retirement from music happened in 2015, but he remained friends with his bandmates. He also penned and released seven books in the non-fiction genre, The Masked Rider: Cycling in West Africa being the first.
