James Lipton

James Lipton was a renowned writer and host. He was best known for creating Inside the Actor Studio, where he would often interview well-known Hollywood celebrities. Lipton would ask about their specific acting credits and how they were able to carve a successful acting career. Without a doubt, he gave us countless memorable interviews. It truly saddened us when he passed away in 2020.

Besides Inside the Actor Studio, Lipton was also an actor, lyricist, and the dean emeritus of the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University in New York. There’s certainly no question that he knew a thing or two about acting. After all, you wouldn’t be the dean emeritus of a well-known acting school if you didn’t have the necessary skills, knowledge, and technique. Furthermore, Lipton was also an author, and he was able to publish three books. Indeed, he was an amazing talent who found success in every field that he immersed himself in.
