Elizabeth Wurtzel
Elizabeth Wurtzel’s life and personality was chaotic and beautiful. She said it and so did everyone around her. She was a writer and journalist whose works received critical acclaim. She was known for the 1994 confessional memoir Prozac Nation.
She reached the height of success at a young age of 27. Her works were her ways of expressing her struggles in her relationships, careers, and mental health. She had struggles with her personal life, but when it came to her professional works, there was no question of flaws or sloppiness. She was so passionate about her job. She had tried other professions, including being an attorney for a brief period of time, a pop music critic, and a journalist for a huge newspaper. Wurtzel was later acknowledged as the voice of Generation X for her contributions to pop culture. She was 52 years old at the time of her passing.
