Rip Torn
He is an award-winning actor who is extensively known for his films like Men In Black 1 and 2, as well as Cross Creek, for which he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in the Academy Awards. On television, his most notable project would probably be The Larry Sanders Show, as he won an Emmy award out of six nominations. Aside from working in movies and TV, he also acted and directed on stage. In 1959, he landed a role in Sweet Bird of Youth and immediately snatched the attention of award-giving bodies and was nominated for Tony Awards but won in Theater World Award.
His legal name was Elmore Rual Torn Jr., and he got married thrice in his lifetime to Ann Wedgeworth, Geraldine Page, and Amy Wright. Apart from that, he also worked with his lawyer in different occurrences. One of these was in 2010 when he was charged with multiple offenses after he misled a bank into his home. He passed away on July 9, 2019, at the age of 88.
