David Prowse
The huge Star Wars franchise has produced many iconic stars. One of them was David Prowse, who reached stardom after landing the role of Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy. According to Star Wars creator George Lucas, Prowse was the force behind Vader, and was able to do a lot for the powerful character that many loved to hate. He has put so much intensity and electricity into the personality of the hit character. The actor was also the man who made Vader a memorable character despite his tragic destiny. Another iconic role Prowse was able to land was that of a manservant in the 1971 box-office film, A Clockwork Orange, by Stanley Kubrick.
Aside from being an actor who played iconic roles, the English star was also a bodybuilder. Indeed, one of the reasons he was chosen to play Darth Vader was because he had the body for the costume.
