Her husband Demian Bichir, families, friends, and fans were left in tears and sadness after the star suddenly kicked the bucket. “It is with inconceivable pain that I announce that on April 20, 2019, our dearest Stefanie Sherk, my beloved and loving wife, passed away peacefully…” Bichir penned on his Instagram post. According to a report from the Los Angeles County Coroner, Sherk’s responsible for her passing. Yup, she took her own life. The report also stated that her body was retrieved at the bottom of her pool with “a backpack strapped to her backfilled with dumbbells and weights attached to her ankles.”

Stefanie was a model and actress who grew up in Ontario, Canada. She was best known for her credits in various films such as Valentine’s Day, Crash Landing, and Big Date. She also appeared with her husband in the American version of the Danish-Swedish drama series The Bridge.
